Did you know that labeling your things is one of the BEST ways to keep your home organized and under control? A good set of printable labels can work wonders when it comes to keeping your home nice and tidy. It’s like the perfect finishing touch on your home organization system!

But just making everything look nice and pretty with printable labels certainly isn’t the only benefit to using them, of course. (Though I must admit I get a little giddy when everything is organized with matching labels.)
Labels can help you find what you’re looking for the first time, instead of having to dig through things and make a mess just to find something. They also ensure that things get put away where they belong, making them easier to find the next time you need them again. And thus the wonderful cycle of organization continues.

I made these printable labels and I’ve been using them around the home for things that I have organized in bins, boxes, baskets, and containers.
It makes such a big difference when it comes to finding what I’m looking for. These labels clearly tell me what’s in them at a glance, so no more rummaging and searching!

I just love that they not only help me keep my things organized, but they look good while doing it! That’s definitely a huge win in my book. No matter what I have stored in my home, I’m able to tell at a glance what is where.
This is also super helpful for my family as well, as I swear my husband likes to look for things with his eyes closed. Honey, the light bulbs are in the bin marked “light bulbs.” Can’t get much clearer than that! 😉

So what do you think? Would you like to use these free printable labels to organize your own home? I made four different color options, so you can take your pick as to what color will best match your home, or get a little crazy and use some of each color!
You can print them out onto sticker paper, and then all you have to do is cut them out and stick them on your bins. Or just use regular printer paper and double sided tape. Whatever works to get your home organized. Get the free download below!
I find that labels are best used on things like baskets, bins, containers, and jars. It’s really important that you make sure to only put items into the container that match the label.
This will help keep your home organized and avoid searching through a bin labeled “hats” only to find a shoe, or something random like that. So print them out, go on a labeling spree, and you’ll be golden when it comes to home organization.
I’d love to hear how you’re using printable labels around your home. Drop a note in the comments!
