So often in life, I think we lose track of the big picture. It’s so easy to get bogged down with daily tasks and chores that we forget our purpose or what we’re working towards. There are always a million small little tasks that seem like they need to be taken care of RIGHT NOW! It’s easy to lose sight of our dreams and aspirations. I think it’s important to be reminded from time to time of our purpose, our goals, and our desires. When we focus on what we want to achieve and work hard to make it happen, it’s amazing what we can accomplish!
I am starting to create and design a little office space in our home. Right now we don’t have an entire room to dedicate to an office, but we do have a desk and a little corner in a room that I am turning into a work space. I want this office to be a space where I can work and create, a place where I can brainstorm, write, and turn my ideas into reality. Everyone needs a little space like that, don’t you think?
As I’ve been planning the decor for my space (which of course will be DIYed), I’ve been trying to infuse it with things that will inspire me on a daily basis. So one thing I know I’m going to include is a bulletin board where I can post ideas, plans, and notes. I also want to display a few motivational quotes that will motivate me to create and achieve my goals.
I love motivational quotes. I feel that the right quote placed in the right spot can be a powerful daily reminder of what you’re working towards and what your purpose is. It’s one of those things that you can look at when you’re feeling down, unmotivated, or in a slump, and it will bring you back to your center and remind you of your purpose and goals.
So today I am sharing with you a few free motivational printables for your own walls. They are all sized 8×10, and each quote has a color version and a black and white version, so you can choose which one you want to use.
The black and white versions are perfect for printing on colored or patterned card stock of your choice if you want to add a little bit of pizzazz to your decor. I don’t put colored backgrounds on my printables out of respect for your color ink cartridge. It’s so much easier to just print on colored paper than use up half a printer cartridge for one page, you know? Just click below to download the printables!

I must say, as much as I love being (mostly) paperless and digital, the one drawback of it is that so often you look at something once and then never see it again. It ends up getting saved somewhere in your favorites and then lost in the infinite abyss that is the internet. In an age of information overload, it’s so easy to forget that quote or saying you found to be so inspiring five minutes ago.
So I do hope you actually download one of two of these free motivational printables, print them out, and hang them up in a place where you’ll see them on a regular basis and be reminded of what it is you want to accomplish. I truly believe that if you are determined and really put your heart and soul into your goals, you will achieve big things!
As creators, it’s so important to nurture and feed our inner fire, and I love quotes that do just that. These free motivational printables are perfect for displaying almost anywhere in the house. Print them out and put them wherever you’ll see them on a regular basis, the place where you get your work done, or wherever you need some extra motivation. So whether that’s in an office, craft room, bedroom, or even kitchen, these are really great for wherever you desire!
So tell me, what motivates you? What inspires you and gets you excited? If there are any particular motivational quotes or colors you’d like to see, please let me know in the comments and I’ll try to include them in a future post!
These are great quotes Celeste!I have to agree with you that a quote placed in the right spot can really fire up the inspiration. I know too often we save them and then they get lost. I get my inspiration from postcards or cards in general that I have hanging up in front of my tiny desk. I used an old wire rack and repurposed it to hold all of my must see papers and inspirational photos. I cannot wait to see your office space.
Thanks, Mary! Glad to hear I’m not the only one who loves inspirational quotes! It’s true though, so often those special quotes get lost in the abyss. I love to collect postcards, too. I hope to come up with a creative way to display them as well. I’ll be sure to do a reveal when I’m done!
Very beautiful phrases! I love framing them as well so I put them wherever in my house. They make me feel great when read them. Thanks for sharing them and your other projects at my craft party!!
Thanks, Denise! They’re perfect for displaying anywhere you need a little added motivation! I always enjoy checking out the posts at your link party!
