If there’s one thing I love, it’s cute and creative storage. There’s just something about having a pretty organization system that makes my heart go pitter patter. I know, I’m weird like that. But it can honestly make a really big difference when you’re trying to make your home look organized and cohesive.
While it can get pricey to buy matching sets of storage bins or containers, there are ways you can create beautiful storage on a budget. Mason jar storage is one of those ways! Most households have an assortment of mason jars lying around just waiting to be turned into wow-worthy storage.
And if you don’t have extra mason jars, I’ve found glass food jars work just as well. I actually made these glitter glass jars from spaghetti sauce jars. So don’t despair if you’re on a tight budget, because that’s where the magic of crafting comes in! Turning recyclables into beautiful home decor is such a great way to save money and make your home look amazing. And nobody needs to know your decor came from the recycling bin. 😉
I love to use mason jars to organize because not only are they cute, but they’re also functional–the perfect combination for adding storage to your home! Mason jar crafts are also usually fairly simple to DIY. For the most part you just need a little paint, and sometimes not even that. I loved the Sea Glass and It All Started with Paint ideas, lots of ideas for different kinds of knobs on the lids. I like to organize and it seems like it is always an ongoing project. Thank you for all the ideas.
Those sea glass mason jars are so beautiful, aren’t they? They’re so perfect for a coastal feel! I agree, staying organized is definitely one of those ongoing projects. The key is to get ahead when you can and stay on top of the clutter to keep things organized and under control. Best of luck!
Very pretty ideas! Nice collection Celeste!
Thanks so much!
These are all really pretty ideas Celeste. I have jars all over the house, actually too many. I need to cut back because the more jars I have the more stuff I hold onto. But that is another story for another day. I hope you are doing well and getting all your ducks in order! 😉
Haha, that is understandable, Mary! Too many places to store things can result in holding on to clutter, so you have to be careful not to fall into that trap! Our ducks are as in order as they’re ever going to get since the arrival of our little duckling a few weeks ago! I’m working on a post in between feedings and diaper changes, so it might go live sometime this year. 😉
Celeste, all these Mason jar storage and organization ideas are wonderful! I love using jars for organizing and decor elements. The jars with bakers twine in them are so neat; I really like the lids.
Thanks, Keri! I just love how mason jar storage can look so classy, and it’s so cheap and easy! Those bakers twine jars are so neat. I might have to try it with all my ribbon!
Another great post! I swear I use Mason Jars for just about everything but they’re so pretty. 🙂
Me too, Rita! Mason jars make such perfect storage and they’re so pretty, why not use them for everything?!
